As part of our continued growth, we are seeking a skilled Structural Engineer to join our in-house design team. This is an exciting opportunity to work across a diverse portfolio of high-end residential projects—from concept design through to construction documentation.

What You'll Do:

​You'll be the kind of person who:

  • Create detailed structural designs for timber framing, wall bracing, tie-downs, and structural steel across residential and commercial projects.
  • Provide engineering solutions for swimming pools, tilt panels, steel structures, alfresco areas, patios, and other custom outdoor features.
  • Apply civil engineering expertise within the Australian construction context, with a focus on Queensland compliance.
  • Use AutoCAD and Revit, and other industry tools to produce high-quality engineering documentation.
  • Conduct design checks, structural analysis, and audits to ensure compliance with Australian Standards and local council requirements.
  • Review and interpret architectural drawings to ensure structural integrity and construct ability.
  • Liaise with clients, interpret their needs, and deliver practical, timely engineering solutions.
  • Support the preparation of fee proposals, project quotes, and scope documentation

Requirements

What You Bring

We're looking for someone who:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (or equivalent).
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in structural design, preferably within Australian residential and light commercial construction.
  • Knowledge of Australian Standards, Building Regulations, and relevant codes will be highly regarded.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD (essential), with working knowledge of Revit and structural analysis software such as ETABS, SAP2000, and Stack CAD
  • Experience in swimming pool, steel structure, and tilt panel design is highly regarded.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a practical, solution-focused mindset.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across disciplines.
  • High attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience with SharePoint, Dataverse, and other Microsoft 365 services.
