Responsibilities

  • Continuously identify products, such as stationery, office supplies and school supplies, and add to our existing product lines or propose new product lines as per management objectives or as per your suggestions which can generate good volume and profits
  • Source and research and competitive suppliers
  • Do local trade checks (research online or physical store visits), compare our costs versus what is sold in the market, and suggest prices for retail and distributors
  • Continuously monitor competition and propose similar products or more innovative products with competitive pricing
  • Work with suppliers and colleagues and have suppliers evaluated and orders placed accordingly
  • Work with sales guys in product demonstrations as necessary
  • Assist in coming up with marketing and pricing promotions
  • Regularly monitors and follow-up progress of pending purchase orders and ensure timely delivery
  • Replenish and order stocks as required
  • Handle other tasks as assigned by management

Requirements:

  • With experience in sourcing, developing products and purchasing from local and overseas suppliers
  • With experience in product development of office equipment, medical supplies, construction materials, fabrics or other potential and good-volume products is a plus but not required
  • Good negotiation skills. Organized. Independent
  • Good PC Skills (Word, Excel, Email, PowerPoint, Google Docs & Sheets)
  • Good communication skills in English and Filipino
  • Willing to travel, locally and overseas
  • Willing to work in our head office in Sta Mesa, Manila
