Job Summary

We are seeking a highly driven and detail-oriented Sourcing Specialist to strengthen our Talent Acquisition efforts in the Philippines. Based in Cebu, you will be responsible for identifying, attracting, and engaging a high volume of qualified Filipino teaching professionals, from fresh graduates, to build a continuous pipeline for our ESL teaching positions. Your success will directly impact our capacity for rapid growth.

Key Responsibilities

Pipeline Development & Strategy

  • Seasonal High-Volume Sourcing: Strategically source candidates for high-volume positions, focusing on candidates with excellent English proficiency, a passion for teaching, and the necessary technical requirements (stable internet, clear teaching environment).

  • Local Channel Mastery: Master and optimize sourcing channels within the Philippine context, including:

  • Job Boards: Jobstreet, LinkedIn, Indeed PH BossJob, and other popular local platforms.

  • Social Media: Specific and highly active Facebook communities/groups for educators, and fresh graduates.
  • Academic Partnerships: Build relationships with career centers and alumni networks of top universities.
  • Candidate Database: Proactively maintain, manage, and re-engage a talent pool of past applicants and screened candidates in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).

Candidate Engagement & Screening

  • Localized Outreach: Craft compelling and culturally-relevant job advertisements and outreach messages in both English and Filipino/Taglish to maximize candidate response rates.
  • Initial Screening: Conduct high-volume initial screening calls/chats to verify basic qualifications, schedule compliance, work-from-home setup readiness, and motivation.
  • Sourcing Events: Coordinate and participate in virtual and on-site career fairs, university job drives, and specialized sourcing events.

Metrics, Reporting, and Compliance

  • Data-Driven Optimization: Track, analyze, and report on key recruitment metrics specific to local high-volume sourcing (e.g., response rates by barangay/region, cost per hire, volume-per-source) to maximize ROI.
  • Collaboration: Partner daily with Talent Acquisition Associates and Recruiters to understand immediate hiring needs, difficult time slots/schedules, and profile-specific gaps.
  • Compliance: Ensure all sourcing activities adhere to Philippine Labor Code and data privacy regulations (e.g., Data Privacy Act of 2012).

Required Qualifications

  • Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of focused experience in Talent Sourcing, Recruitment, or Headhunting in the Philippines, ideally within the BPO, IT, or Education sectors.
  • Language Proficiency: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Filipino.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Technical Skills: Proven proficiency with major local job boards and social media sourcing (specifically Facebook recruitment). Familiarity with Boolean search and an ATS/CRM is a plus.
  • Soft Skills: Highly organized, results-oriented, and resilient in managing high-volume targets and fast-paced demands.

Preferred Skills (The "Competitive Edge")

  • Background or familiarity with the ESL/Online Teaching industry structure and typical requirements.
  • Experience in utilizing paid advertising (e.g., Facebook Ads, Jobstreet Premium) for recruitment purposes.
  • Strong existing network within the Philippine teaching or BPO talent communities.
