GEMECO is a packaging company engaged in the manufacture of tin cans for infant dietetics, beverages, meat, fish, fruits, vegetables, and other food products. Our customers include Angel Milk, Alaska Milk, 555 Sardines, Argentina Corned Beef, Century Tuna, Ligo Sardines, Purefoods Hormel - San Miguel, Swift, Virginia Foods, and Youngstown. ResponsibilitiesEnsure quality production output and meet customer requirements.

Improve departmental performance. Troubleshoot manufacturing and quality issues. Initiate and oversee continuous improvement projects.

Drive cost reduction programs. Collaborate with various production departments. Implement departmental procedures and policies.

Lead team members and staff. Create weekly and monthly production reports. RequirementsCandidate must be a graduate of any Engineering course, with at least 5 years of experience.

Strong leadership abilities. Experience in managing teams in a manufacturing environment. Positive work attitude, trainable, flexible, and hands-on.

A team player with good interpersonal skills. Self-motivated and able to work effectively with minimal supervision. Proficient in computer applications.

Knowledge of ISO, HACCP, FSMS, Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing is an advantage. Attention to detail and strong analytical skills. Competitive salary and benefit packages are offered to qualified candidates.
