Job Description - Product Application Engineer (009FDP)Product Application Engineer - 009FDPOverviewLocation: PhilippinesThe Engineer shall promote and provide pre-sales support for a broad range of solutions, offers, and services in coordination with the country's industrial and process automation initiatives and aspirations. The Engineer is accountable for prescribing projects ranging from simple equipment to fully engineered solutions, with a strong focus on the utilities segment (power, water, etc.). ResponsibilitiesAct as the technical interface between sales and sales support, Line of Business (LoB), and customers in line with the country's business strategy.

Act as a technical consultant on the assigned segments to achieve yearly sales targets. Drive technical discussions and clarifications during the sales cycle with the sales team as the domain expert, including visiting customer sites. Support and motivate the sales team by leveraging technical knowledge to reach targets and create pipelines.

Collaborate with all stakeholders to maximize business opportunities. Understand and identify customer needs to prescribe appropriate Schneider Electric solutions. Lead or support technical workshops with targeted customers and partners to establish trust and become their trusted advisor.

Provide product/solution seminars and enablement sessions to train sales teams and partners on Schneider Electric offers and services. Lead the annual technical certification process for end users, where applicable. Coordinate with regional technical and sales resources such as solution architects, key account managers, business development managers, and LoB teams to craft solutions and secure deals.

Work with the tendering team to identify specific technical requirements from customers. Develop and implement processes and best practices to improve engagement with clients and internal stakeholders. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and codes that influence solution choices and certifications.

Support local teams and channel partners with initial design and solutions/product enablement. QualificationsBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Electronics and Communication Engineering with at least 5 years of relevant experience with End-Users, Consultants, or Contractors.

Good understanding of market needs and stakeholders. Ability to build sustainable and reliable customer relationships. Specific knowledge in industrial automation, digital solutions, and utilities segments such as power generation, power grid, and water; familiarity with Schneider Electric solutions is a plus.

Knowledge of project sales and project management. Proficient in spoken and written English, Microsoft Office, ERP/CRM tools, with strong presentation skills. Knowledge of ETAP solutions is a plus.

Attention to detail, self-motivated, quick learner, good communicator, and results-oriented.
