About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and versatile Senior Accountant to join our Finance team. This role will be responsible for handling a wide range of accounting functions, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with accounting standards, and timely month-end closing.

The ideal candidate has strong accounting fundamentals, experience managing multiple balance sheets and P&L accounts, and the ability to collaborate across teams in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities: General Accounting & Month-End Close

  • Perform end-to-end accounting activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and schedules.
  • Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes, ensuring completeness and accuracy.
  • Prepare and maintain supporting documentation for internal and external audits.

Revenue & Receivables

  • Handle billing entries, revenue recognition, and cost of services (e.g., driver/carrier payables).
  • Monitor and reconcile accounts receivable, shipper balances, and related party transactions.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to validate revenue contracts and accounting treatment.

Assets & Cash

  • Manage the fixed asset register, including additions, disposals, and depreciation.
  • Monitor cash balances and reconciliations, ensuring timely classification and reporting.

Process Improvements

  • Identify and recommend process enhancements to strengthen controls and improve efficiency.
  • Contribute to the implementation of system and reporting improvements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in accounting, audit, or finance.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles (IFRS/GAAP).
  • Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, formulas, reconciliations); ERP experience (NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, Xero, or similar) is a plus.
  • Excellent attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php30, Php35,000.00 per month
