General Role
Junior/Senior Sales Account Manager is responsible for building and nurturing long-term relationships with clients and to drive revenue growth and achieve sales targets through strategic relationship management.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Client Relationship Management:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of assigned clients.
- Develop and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers.
- Act as a trusted advisor, understanding client needs, challenges, and long-term goals.
- Ensure a high level of client satisfaction and retention by providing excellent customer service and support.
- Resolve client issues and conflicts in a timely and effective manner.
2. Sales and Business Development:
- Manage a portfolio of accounts to achieve long-term success and meet sales targets.
- Identify new business opportunities within existing accounts (upselling and cross-selling).
- Generate new leads and acquire new clients through networking and referrals.
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals tailored to client needs.
- Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits.
3. Strategic Planning and Reporting:
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to meet customer needs and company objectives.
- Track and report on key account metrics, sales performance, and other relevant data.
- Provide regular updates on account status and sales performance to internal stakeholders.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth.
- Forecast and report on sales on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, a master's degree is an advantage but not required.
- Proven work experience as a Sales Account Manager, Sales Executive, or a similar role not less than two years.
- Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
- Core Competencies: strong communication skills, customer service orientation, problem-solving skills, relationship-building skills, organizational and time management skills, business acumen, and technical proficiency
- Personal Attributes: self-motivated and target-driven, ability to work independently and as part of a team, professional and persuasive manner, willingness to work long hours and travel as required.
