About the role

We are seeking an experienced Bank Sales Officer to join our growing team at Welcome Bank (Rural Bank), Inc. in Quezon City. As the Bank Sales Officer, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our local branch, ensuring exceptional customer service and driving the branch's financial performance. This is a full-time position with competitive benefits.

What you'll be doing

  • Strategize a marketing tool to increase deposit sales in order to meet the branch target;
  • Developing and implementing strategies to achieve sales targets and expand the customer base.
  • Ensuring the branch complies with banking laws, regulations, and the bank's own policies and procedures.
  • Managing the branch's budget, forecasting financial objectives, and preparing reports on the branch's performance.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with customers, addressing their needs, and resolving any issues or complaints.
  • Training and supervising staff, providing coaching and development opportunities to improve their skills and performance.
  • Assessing local market conditions and identifying current and prospective opportunities for business growth.
  • Monitoring and managing risks within the branch, including credit, operational, and reputational risks.

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Sales Officer or in a similar leadership role within the banking industry
  • Strong understanding of retail banking operations, including deposit and lending products, customer service, and regulatory compliance
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with both customers and employees
  • Proven track record of driving branch-level growth and profitability
  • Market familiarity of the nearby areas and its unique banking needs
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
