Site Engineer

Job Summary:
The site Engineer is the site technical personnel tasked to supervise/oversee and monitor the day-to-day construction activities of the Contractors including quality inspection and documentation /paper works as necessary for the smooth progress of the project.
- Must be a Licensed Civil Engineer
- With or without experience
- Willing to be trained
- Can work under pressure and versatile
- Can work under minimal supervision
- Experience is an advantage
- Computer literate (MS Word, Excel, AutoCAD)
- Good communication and leadership skills
- Willing to be assigned on-site and work extended hours when needed
Responsibilities & Duties
1. Processing and reviewing Contractor's progress billing.
2. Responsible for processing of building permit and certificate of occupancy for house construction.
3. Ensuring the quality of all materials in accordance with the plans & specifications.
4. Ensuring that all contractors will comply with safety, rules and regulations, reiterating, security rules.
5. Responsible for the inspection of ongoing house construction, issuance of Notice of Defects (NOD), approval of works in Request for Inspection (RFI), preparation of daily journal of works, and weekly construction report.
6. Ensuring that all house construction will meet turnaround time.
Coordinate with Purchasing Department regarding materials request for the department.
Prepare Estimate of construction plans for the preparation of budget cost.
Responsible for assisting our business partners for inspection of units and the subdivision, such as Pag-Ibig, Assessor's Office, Bank and other related agencies.
Assists Clients and/or selling partners with regards on modification, upgrade, add-ons and other related construction concerns.
Negotiate with contractors, prepare counter estimate and costing for the clients' add-on and upgrade request.
Handling Contractor's concern.
Responsible for preparing the Certificate of completion as attachment for final billing of the Contractor.
Maintaining the individual contractor's file, billing, notice to proceed, contract agreement, house plans, bill of materials, specifications, and other related construction documents.
Preparing Weekly construction report and monitoring the status of bare and finishing works for house construction.
Provide assistance to Sales and marketing dept, documentation department, Accounting dept, and Property Management dept., in terms of technical documents.
Perform other duties as may be delegated by Project In-Charge.
