About the Role:

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Draftsman to join our design and engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating precise technical drawings and plans using industry-standard software, ensuring designs meet both functional and aesthetic requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare detailed architectural and engineering drawings based on specifications and design concepts.
  • Utilize software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and other drafting tools to create accurate plans and layouts.
  • Assist architects and engineers in translating concepts into working drawings.
  • Ensure drawings comply with local building codes, standards, and project requirements.
  • Revise and update drawings based on feedback from the project team or clients.
  • Maintain organized drawing files and documentation for project records.

Qualifications:

  • Diploma or Certificate in Drafting, Architecture, Civil Technology, or related field.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD; knowledge of SketchUp, Revit, or other relevant applications is an advantage.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
