Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior IT Administrator to oversee and manage the company's IT infrastructure, systems, and networks. The role is responsible for ensuring system reliability, security, and efficiency while providing technical support to end-users. The Senior IT Administrator will also lead IT projects, manage vendors, and ensure compliance with company policies and Philippine data security regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage, maintain, and troubleshoot servers, networks, storage, and IT infrastructure.
  • Oversee installation, configuration, and upgrades of hardware, software, and operating systems.
  • Implement and monitor system security measures, including firewalls, antivirus, and data protection.
  • Ensure business continuity and disaster recovery plans are in place and regularly tested.
  • Provide advanced technical support and guidance to IT staff and end-users.
  • Administer user accounts, permissions, email systems, and access controls.
  • Monitor system performance, identify issues, and implement solutions to improve efficiency.
  • Manage IT assets, procurement, and vendor relationships.
  • Maintain documentation of IT processes, network diagrams, and system configurations.
  • Stay updated with emerging technologies and recommend improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with Philippine data privacy and IT security laws.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • At least 5+ years of experience in IT administration.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows/Linux servers and Active Directory.
  • Networking (LAN, WAN, VPN, firewalls, switches, routers)
  • Virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V)
  • Cloud platforms (Microsoft 365, Azure, AWS)
  • Backup and disaster recovery solutions
  • Hands-on experience in IT security and compliance.
  • Certifications preferred: MCSE, CCNA/CCNP, ITIL, CompTIA Security+.
  • Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and lead a small IT support team.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php40, Php80,000.00 per month
