Overall Purpose

The incumbent oversees the preparation and timely submission of the Company's financial statements and regulatory reports, ensuring full compliance with the requirements of regulatory bodies such as the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas ("BSP"), Securities and Exchange Commission ("SEC"), and Bureau of Internal Revenue ("BIR"). The role also addresses various queries and requirements from these regulatory agencies and external auditors, ensuring accurate and transparent communication of the Company's financial position.

Qualifications

  1. Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
  2. At least 10 years of experience in accounting within a bank or investment house with quasi-banking operations
  3. Strong foundation in accounting principles and practices, with extensive knowledge of the investment banking business, including plans and strategies, regulatory requirements, and bank policies and standards
  4. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in financial reporting and regulatory compliance
  5. Technically literate - with intermediate skills on standard office productivity software and basic understanding of common computer terminologies.
