Qualifications

Educational Background

  • Minimum Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electronics, IT, or a related field

Work experience required

  • 1–3 years of experience in field service, preferably with POS systems, fintech, or retail technology.

Technical / Functional Skills

  • Strong understanding of networking, basic hardware troubleshooting, and device configuration.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in English (and local language, if applicable).
  • Ability to work independently, manage travel schedules, and handle multiple tasks.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively.
  • Full-time position, with working hours as per rooster.

  • Other Requirements: Immediate joiner preferred.
  • Preferably who lives near Makati office(Ayala)
  • Amendable to shifting schedule in preparation for future 24x7 assignment

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • POS Terminal Deployment: · Install, configure, and activate POS terminals at merchant sites.
  • Conduct site-readiness checks and troubleshoot hardware or connectivity issues during setup.
  • Merchant Training & Support: · Provide hands-on training to merchants on POS usage, features, and basic troubleshooting.
  • Offer guidance on payment processes, security best practices, and operational procedures.

Field Servicing & Maintenance:

  • Conduct routine and ad-hoc visits to merchant locations to perform maintenance, repairs, or upgrades.
  • Replace faulty equipment and escalate complex technical issues to the relevant teams.

Customer Relationship Management:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for merchants post-installation.
  • Collect feedback to improve service quality and relay merchant needs internally.

Reporting & Documentation:

  • Maintain accurate records of deployments, service visits, and customer interactions.
  • Submit daily or weekly reports to the Field Operations Manager.
  • Other Requirements: Immediate joiner preferred.
