Position Overview
The Liaison Officer is responsible for handling company transactions and communications with government offices, private institutions, suppliers, and other external parties. This role ensures that permits, licenses, documents, and official requirements are processed on time, accurately, and in compliance with regulations. The Liaison Officer also assists in delivering and collecting documents and supports other administrative and operational tasks as needed.
Key Responsibilities
Government & Regulatory Transactions
- Process business permits, licenses, and renewals with local and national government agencies
- File and retrieve official documents, clearances, and certificates
- Ensure timely submission of requirements to avoid penalties or delays
Company Document Handling
- Secure signatures and approvals from authorized personnel
- Submit and collect documents from clients, partners, suppliers, or contractors
- Maintain proper documentation and filing for all transactions
Coordination & Communication
- Serve as the company's representative for external errands and appointments
- Communicate with agencies, malls, and business partners to follow up on pending matters
- Assist in scheduling and confirming appointments
Financial Transactions
- Deliver payments to government agencies, suppliers, and service providers
- Secure official receipts and ensure proper turnover to the accounting department
Operational Support
- Assist in logistics such as pick-up and delivery of materials or equipment
- Support company events, store setups, and mall coordination when needed
- Perform other tasks as assigned by management
Required Qualifications
- At least College Level or Graduate preferred
- With minimum of 1 year experience in liaison work, government processing, or field operations preferred
- Knowledge of basic government processes and documentation requirements
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Must be organized, detail-oriented, and trustworthy
- Physically fit and willing to travel frequently
