- Responsible for business operations of the PSMD division by reviewing contracts, purchase requisitions, purchase orders.
- Supervises the day-to-day activities of the department.
- Checks Purchase Request of Medicines, Medical supplies, Office supplies, supervises and assist for enterprises of the purchasing staff.
- Reviews and approves deals and discounts based on the consumption of medicine and medical supplies.
- Compares prices and specifications, and contacts suppliers to seek for discounts, terms, etc. for non-medical and medical equipment.
- Checks Purchase Orders before the recommending approval to the purchasing head.
- Entertains transactions from different suppliers and different Departments and/or Sections.
- Checks summary of savings of different supplies annual price review of all regular purchases to ensure cost effectiveness.
- Facilitate the PMS of equipments, electricals, etc.
- Checks and consolidates management and QEHS Report
- Reviews and approves monthly inventory report made by staff and different Departments and/or Sections.
- Checks operational and statistical reports submitted by Warehouse Specialist with 9 objectives.
- Prepares status of Key Performance Indicator and Measure (KPIM) of PSMD (CSR/Purchasing, School, and CSSR).
- Prepares Corrective/Preventive/Improvement Action Report.
- Assists the Purchasing Head in planning, organizing, directing, monitoring and controlling the operations of Property and Supplies Management Department.
- Coordinates and entertains with other departments for problems concerning property and supplies management.
- Reports to the Purchasing Head the accomplishments, problems, goals, and plans of the Property and Supplies Management Department.
- Recommends to the Purchasing Head solutions to the department's problems and programs for continual improvement.
- Conducts monthly PSMD meetings to discuss concerns and accomplishments and with the staff if necessary.
- Assists in preparing, monitoring, and analyzing the annual budget versus actual operations of the department.
- Ensures implementation and compliance with the established Integrated Quality Management System (IMS) standards.
- Implementing programs / operational and personal policies and procurement.
- Evaluates the performance of the PSMD staff and submit reports to the Purchasing Head
- Attends and represents the Department in Company meetings and submit report to the Purchasing Head for approval:
- Therapeutics, ICC and other committee meeting, and
- Products Demo of different supplies and equipment.
- Maintains and keeps files of the Department/ supervises the maintenance.
- Performs other related duties that may be assigned from time to time.
- Prepares operational and statistical report.
Qualifications:
- A graduate of BS Business Administration; preferably with Master's Degree in Business Administration.
- With 5 years related work experience, 4 years of which should be in middle management level/function.
