Job Title: QA LeadJob Summary:

IT Managers Inc. is looking for an experienced QA Lead to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading quality assurance initiatives across projects, driving both manual and automated testing efforts, and ensuring high-quality product delivery. This role requires a hands-on leader who can define QA strategies, mentor team members, and collaborate closely with development and product teams in an Agile/DevOps environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of QA engineers in planning, designing, and executing test strategies.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases, and scripts for both manual and automated testing.
  • Perform manual and automated testing to ensure software quality, functionality, and performance.
  • Identify, document, and manage defects throughout the testing lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with developers, product owners, and project managers to ensure seamless integration and timely delivery.
  • Oversee the implementation of QA processes and best practices to improve testing efficiency and accuracy.
  • Drive automation initiatives and maintain test frameworks using industry-standard tools.
  • Monitor and report on key QA metrics, test results, and overall software quality status.
  • Participate actively in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, with at least 2 years in a lead or senior role.
  • Strong knowledge of manual testing methodologies, test planning, and defect management.
  • Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Selenium, TestNG, Postman, and JMeter.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum frameworks and DevOps environments.
  • Experience building or maintaining automated test frameworks.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to lead, mentor, and motivate a QA team.

Tools & Technologies:

Manual Testing Tools: JIRA, TestRail, Zephyr, Excel

Automation Tools: Selenium, Appium, Postman, TestNG, Jenkins, Git

Programming Languages: Java, Python, JavaScript (depending on stack)

CI/CD Platforms: Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps

Preferred Qualifications (Optional):

  • Experience in testing APIs, mobile apps, or performance testing.
  • Background in cloud-based testing or continuous integration environments.
  • QA certifications such as ISTQB or CSTE are a plus.

Job Type: Fixed term

Contract length: 3-6 months

Pay: Php100, Php120,000.00 per month
