
Training Officer

Key Responsibilities:
· Formulates learning objectives; plans, designs, and develops methods for the assessment and evaluation of training effectiveness.
· Conducts Needs Analysis or gap requirement of requestors using various methodologies to know the basis and development of modules/materials;
· Design, implement, and facilitate training programs covering food preparation, kitchen safety, sanitation, and company SOPs.
· Conduct hands-on coaching and skills development sessions for new and existing employees.
· Develops follow through programs to ensure trainee's application of learning on the job.
· Work closely with operations manager to identify skills gaps and address training needs.
· Provide continuous education on menu updates, new cooking techniques, and industry best practices.
· Conduct regular audits and training refreshers to maintain a high level of food safety and sanitation.
· Track the progress of employees and recommend further training or career development opportunities.
· Collaborate with HR and Operations to create career pathways for employees.
Qualifications & Requirements:
· At least 2 years of experience in restaurant management, preferably with a strong restaurant store operations background.
· Proven experience in training and developing store operations staff.
· Strong understanding of restaurant store operations, food safety regulations, and cooking techniques.
· Excellent communication and coaching skills.
· Ability to create training materials and facilitate engaging training sessions.
· Experience in a fast-paced restaurant or food service environment is a plus.
