A Sr Logistics Specialist controls materials (RM/FG) movement on stock, incoming and/or orders. The job ensures adequate inventories are maintained in accordance with sales and customers' requirements for products from the plant through inventory control system and production planning and ensures that all requests for maintenance works are attended to.

· Reviews, monitors and control inventories, both finished goods and raw materials, consistent with sales requirements and company policy.

· Prepares purchase orders for imported materials and send it to supplier through E-mail /Fax (cc: Logistics Manager). Prepares Purchase Requisition for locally needed materials and packaging materials and have approved by the Logistics Manager.

· Monitors and coordinates follow up issued purchase Orders/purchase requisition (Incoming Materials) from supplier/broker. Key-in to System V purchase orders issued to Supplier.

· Coordinates with production, order handling, sales and laboratory regarding changes in production scheduling due to urgent need of customers, big volume orders and/or made to order products. Prepares and submit reports required by Management/Supervisor.

· Coordinates with Sales and/or District Manager regarding regular products and/or new products to be introduced to regular customers and/or new customers to maintain good inventories. Coordinates with Marketing people and QC regarding new products to be introduced whether it can be manufactured locally and/or import. Checks formulation, process procedures, raw materials availability, process equipment, packaging, etc. consult Logistics Manager regarding new products to be manufactured locally.

· Handles duties and responsibilities of Warehouseman in case Warehouseman is on leave. Handles duties and responsibilities of Production Foreman in case Production Foreman is on leave.

· Prepare Purchase Requisition for maintenance supplies/spare parts and coordinates to purchasing. Checks and coordinates with the A/P countries regarding urgent requirement of sales or late deliveries of imported materials from USA.
