PROCESS & QUALITY OFFICER (Part-time)

The Process and Quality Officer is a crucial analytical and coordination function within the PQCC Department. This flexible role is designed to ensure the organization's internal operations remain efficient, compliant with quality standards, and positioned for continuous improvement. The Officer is responsible for documenting and evaluating workflows, performing quality audits, and recommending data-driven improvements, acting as a vital bridge between the PQCC, IT, and Compliance teams.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Evaluate, document, and map existing workflows using process mapping software to identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies.
  • Develop, update, and maintain comprehensive Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and process flow documents.
  • Conduct internal quality checks and process audits (e.g., using check sheets and control charts), ensuring all findings are documented and followed up.
  • Analyze data from audits to identify recurring issues, using tools like Cause-and-Effect or Pareto diagrams to determine root causes.
  • Prepare detailed reports and dashboards summarizing audit results, process metrics, and improvement progress for the PQCC Head.
  • Coordinate and delegate selected administrative and documentation tasks to the Process and Quality Assistant, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Collaborate with the IT team to ensure seamless alignment between documented processes and digital systems/tools.
  • Partner with the Compliance team to align operational standards with regulatory requirements (e.g., Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012).
  • Support the PQCC Head in planning and implementing efficiency and quality initiatives.

Qualifications / Requirements

  • Proven experience in process analysis, quality assurance, or a related operational role.
  • Strong understanding of quality management principles and methodologies (e.g., Lean Six Sigma, ISO 9001).
  • Experience in data analysis and reporting, with proficiency in using data to drive decisions.
  • Knowledge of relevant Philippine regulations, particularly the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (RA 10173), is highly desirable.
  • Strong documentation skills, with the ability to create clear, concise, and comprehensive SOPs and process maps.
  • Hardware/Tools: Proficiency with MS Office/Google Workspace; experience with process mapping software (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart) and Data Analysis/BI Tools (e.g., Excel Power Query, Power BI) is preferred.
