JOB POSITION: Accounting Officer

JOB LOCATION: Makati

WORK SCHEDULE: Mondays- Fridays (9am-6pm)

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Accounting:

  • Able to handle financial position of an SME.
  • Maintaining and reviewing financial records such as Receivables and Payables
  • Ensuring compliance with accounting and tax laws.
  • Preparing budgets regularly.
  • Monitoring expenditure and profits and providing reports.
  • Prepare staff and employees payroll and government benefits.
  • Evaluating internal management systems, procedures, and risks in order to provide recommendations.
  • Managing business accounts and assist in preparation of financial statements.
  • Evaluating, developing, and improving systems, and procedures that increase accuracy and efficiency.
  • Ensuring that all accounting processes align with current financial legislation.
  • Analyzing financial data and creating reports for management and external parties, such as vendors or lenders.
  • Maintaining accurate and complete financial records and participating in audits or reconciliations, as needed.
  • Assisting other departments as they develop strategies, establish objectives, and make decisions that could have a financial impact on the business.
  • Keeping informed about the latest developments in the finance industry.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • A degree in accounting or similar
  • Previous working experience as an Accounting Officer is preferred.
  • Knowledge and competency in accounting principles.
  • Proficiency in management systems.
  • Administration skills.
  • Sound interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and other accounting software.
