About the role

As an IT Network Engineer at Converge ICT Solutions Inc., you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the company's complex network infrastructure. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Pasig City, Metro Manila, where you will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of the company's communication systems.

What you'll be doing

  1. Expertly plan, design, and implement robust network infrastructure solutions utilizing Fortinet technologies, including FortiGate, FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer, FortiSIEM, FortiADC, FortiEMS, FortiDDos, and FortiSandbox.
  2. Develop and enforce comprehensive security policies and procedures using Fortinet Security Fabric, ensuring the protection of critical network assets and data.
  3. Configure, manage and optimize Fortinet's UTM features, Firewall, VPN, Antivirus, Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPS), and Web Filtering to defend against evolving threats.
  4. Proactively monitor and respond to security incidents; conduct threat analysis, implement countermeasures, and continuously improve incident response strategies to mitigate future risks.
  5. Perform regular security audits and risk assessments, identify vulnerabilities, and manage timely patching and firmware updates across all Fortinet devices.
  6. Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of network topologies, configurations, changes, and incident reports to support audit readiness and compliance with industry regulations.
  7. Generate and analyze reports on network performance, security events, and policy compliance, delivering actionable insights to stakeholders.
  8. Configure and manage RADIUS server and Network Access Control (NAC) policies to ensure secure authentication and user access control.
  9. Lead the decommissioning of legacy network security appliances, ensuring secure data migration, compliance, and minimal service disruption.
  10. Create, maintain, and update detailed network diagrams and hardware inventory records to support operational efficiency and capacity planning.

What we're looking for

  1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  2. Minimum of 5 years of experience as an IT Network Engineer, preferably in the telecommunications or IT industry
  3. Strong understanding of network protocols, routing, switching, and security concepts
  4. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
  5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
