About the Role

We are seeking an Advanced Systems Administrator (L2) with a strong background in infrastructure, NOC monitoring, and security operations. The successful candidate will demonstrate deep technical expertise in Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and Windows Server administration, along with excellent communication skills to support global teams.

This role is responsible for ensuring the stability, security, and performance of IT systems while providing advanced support for escalated issues.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide L2 technical support for servers, networks, security tools, and infrastructure components.
  • Manage and troubleshoot Active Directory (user accounts, GPOs, group memberships, permissions).
  • Administer and support Microsoft 365 (Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive).
  • Maintain and optimize Windows Server roles such as AD, DHCP, DNS, FNP, and RDS.
  • Monitor network and system health using NOC tools (SolarWinds, PRTG, or equivalent).
  • Support endpoint and network security systems (antivirus, firewalls, SIEM, EDR).
  • Perform root cause analysis and maintain incident trend reports for continuous improvement.
  • Troubleshoot complex issues in Windows 10 and application environments.
  • Manage backups, disaster recovery checks, and data restoration procedures.
  • Administer virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V) and assist in cloud (Azure) operations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional IT teams to ensure infrastructure integrity and security posture.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of system configurations, incidents, and SOPs.
  • Mentor and support junior members of the service desk or infrastructure team.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Minimum of 4–5 years of experience in system administration, NOC, or security operations.
  • Advanced knowledge of Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and Windows Server environments.
  • Good understanding of networking, Azure, and virtualization technologies.
  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities with attention to detail.
