About the role:

Yondu Inc. is seeking a highly skilled System Administrator to join our dynamic team. As a System Administrator, you will be responsible for the efficient and reliable operation of our IT infrastructure, ensuring the smooth functioning of our critical systems and applications. This full-time role is based in Taguig City, Metro Manila, and offers the opportunity to contribute to the overall success of our organisation.

What you'll be doing:

  1. Manage and maintain the company's servers, networks, and other IT systems to ensure optimal performance and availability
  2. Implement and monitor security measures to protect the company's data and systems from cyber threats
  3. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, providing timely and effective support to end-users
  4. Perform routine system backups and disaster recovery procedures to safeguard critical data
  5. Collaborate with the IT team to plan, implement, and document system upgrades and new technology initiatives
  6. Provide technical guidance and training to end-users on the proper use of IT resources
  7. Continuously monitor and analyse system performance, identifying areas for improvement and optimisation

What we're looking for:

  1. Minimum of 3 years + of experience as a System Administrator or in a similar IT role
  2. Extensive knowledge of server management, network administration, and IT security best practices
  3. Proficiency in Windows Server, Linux, and cloud-based infrastructure management
  4. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with both technical and non-technical teams
  6. Familiarity with IT service management frameworks (e.g., ITIL) and project management methodologies
  7. Willingness to stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and industry trends
