Role Overview

Revenue Assurance is a critical focus area for Converge, addressing one of the company's key risks. The Revenue Assurance Specialist plays a pivotal role as part of the organization's second line of defense, ensuring that revenue leakage is detected, quantified, managed, and prevented.

This role involves advanced data analysis, reporting, process improvement, and control design to safeguard revenue streams. The specialist will proactively identify discrepancies, monitor financial and operational metrics, and collaborate with various departments to resolve issues and implement best practices.

As a second line of defense, the Revenue Assurance function operates independently from Billing & Collection, Revenue Accounting, and Internal Audit, ensuring proper segregation of duties.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform revenue assurance activities including reporting, data analysis, leakage quantification, and leakage management.
  • Proactively detect and resolve data discrepancies, logic errors, and process inefficiencies.
  • Monitor financial and operational metrics to identify anomalies and risks.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define error resolution processes and implement best practices.
  • Recommend and implement process improvements and internal controls to strengthen revenue assurance.
  • Prepare and present professional reports and findings for internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, Electronics and Communications Engineering, or related field.
  • Equivalent work experience in relevant areas may be considered.

Experience

  • At least 1 year of experience in financial, operational, internal audit, or IT roles; background in Telecommunications, Cable TV, DTH, OTT Media, or public utilities preferred.
  • Strong understanding of telecommunications products, services, rates, tariffs, SLAs, and contracts.
  • Demonstrated expertise in reporting, project management, performance monitoring, and process improvement.
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office applications.
