JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Operational Management:
Oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, including food preparation, service, cleanliness, and maintenance.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards to provide a clean and safe environment for customers and staff.
Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage inventory to minimize waste and ensure availability of ingredients and materials.
Implement and enforce company policies and procedures, including cash handling, security protocols, and operational guidelines.
- Staff Management:
Supervise restaurant staff, including servers, cooks, and support staff.
Schedule shifts, allocate tasks, and manage staffing levels to meet operational requirements and labor budget targets.
Provide ongoing training, coaching, and performance feedback to staff to enhance their skills and performance.
Foster a positive work environment, promote teamwork, and address any issues or conflicts among staff members.
- Customer Service:
Ensure excellent customer service standards are maintained at all times, addressing customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback promptly and professionally.
Monitor customer satisfaction levels through feedback channels and take corrective actions as needed to enhance the dining experience.
Implement initiatives to build customer loyalty, such as loyalty programs, special promotions, and personalized service.
- Financial Management:
Monitor and analyze financial performance metrics, including revenue, expenses, profit margin, and cost of goods sold (COGS).
Develop and implement strategies to maximize revenue, reduce costs, and improve profitability while maintaining quality standards.
Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports, providing regular updates to senior management.
Conduct regular inventory audits, control costs, and minimize shrinkage to optimize inventory management.
- Marketing and Sales:
Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement marketing strategies and promotional campaigns to attract customers and drive sales.
Monitor local market trends and competitor activities, identifying opportunities for business growth and market differentiation.
Build relationships with local businesses, organizations, and community groups to enhance brand visibility and attract new customers.
