Line Cook/Kitchen Cook

We are looking for a committed and skilled Line Cook to join our Kitchen Operations team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the Kitchen Head and Senior Line Cook to prepare dishes, uphold kitchen standards, and ensure every item is cooked to excellence. The ideal candidate is passionate about food and thrives in a fast-paced, tech-enabled kitchen environment.
Responsibilities:
- Food Preparation: Handle ingredient prep, including chopping, slicing, dicing, and marinating according to recipe specifications.
- Cooking & Assembly: Prepare and plate menu items based on standard recipes and individual customer requests while maintaining top quality.
- Equipment Operation: Safely and efficiently use kitchen equipment such as ovens, grills, fryers, and mixers.
- Quality Assurance: Oversee the consistency, taste, and presentation of all dishes, making necessary adjustments.
- Sanitation: Keep workstations clean and organized, strictly following health and safety guidelines.
- Inventory Support: Assist in managing stock levels, receiving and storing supplies, and tracking production.
- Teamwork: Collaborate with kitchen staff to maintain seamless operations and a positive working environment.
Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; additional culinary training or certification is a plus.
- Experience: 1–2 years of cooking experience, ideally in a cloud kitchen or similarly fast-paced environment.
- Strong knowledge of diverse cooking techniques and cuisines.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Ability to perform well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Familiarity with food safety standards and proper handling practices.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy items as needed.
