Job description:

  • Lease negotiation and administration
  • Negotiate favorable lease terms with landlords/lessors for the existing restaurant locations and renewals of existing leases.
  • Prepare and review lease agreements, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records of all lease agreements, including key dates, terms and conditions.
  • Manage lease renewals and extensions, proactively identifying opportunities for advantageous terms.
  • Track and manage all lease-related expenses, including rent, common area maintenance (CAM) charges and property taxes.
  • Lease compliance and risk management.
  • Ensure compliance with all terms and conditions of lease agreements.
  • Monitor changes in real estate laws and regulations that may impact Kuya J's lease portfolio.
  • Respond to and resolve lease-related disputes with landlords/lessors.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in lease management, preferably in the restaurant or hospitality industry.
  • Strong understanding of real estate law and lease agreements.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficiency in microsoft office suite, particularly excel.
