The Amazon Specialist is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the company's Amazon Seller Central account. This role serves as the in-house expert on all backend functions of Amazon, including account health monitoring, case resolution, report generation, and operational troubleshooting. The Amazon Specialist collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure listing compliance, resolve account issues promptly, and maintain optimal performance metrics within Seller Central.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain all backend operations in Amazon Seller Central
  • Monitor account health metrics regularly (e.g., late shipment rate, order defect rate, policy violations)
  • Collaborate with other departments (e.g., Customer Support, Compliance, Logistics) to proactively resolve account health risks
  • Open, track, and escalate cases with Amazon Seller Support to resolve listing, account, or performance issues
  • Generate and analyze performance and operations reports (e.g., stranded inventory, suppressed listings, fulfillment issues)
  • Ensure listing content, product detail pages, and back-end attributes meet Amazon policies and SEO best practices
  • Monitor alerts from Amazon and ensure timely responses or action
  • Identify recurring problems or inefficiencies and propose process improvements
  • Keep documentation of SOPs, case logs, and account maintenance activities up to date
  • Serve as the internal point of contact and subject matter expert for all Amazon Seller Central-related concerns
  • Manage ad hoc tasks as assigned by team leads and the leadership team.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience managing Amazon Seller Central accounts (1–3 years minimum preferred)
  • Strong understanding of Amazon's policies, performance metrics, and backend tools
  • Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills
  • Familiarity with tools such as Amazon Business Reports, Brand Registry, and FBA dashboards
  • Experience communicating with Amazon Seller Support and managing cases effectively
  • Proficiency in Google Sheets or Excel for reporting and data analysis
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and documentation skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with other teams (e.g., Customer Service, Logistics, Marketing)

Requirements:

  • Familiarity with supplements or wellness products is a plus
  • Strong organizational skills with a high attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace; comfortable managing shared folders and spreadsheets.
  • Ability to communicate professionally with both internal and external collaborators.
  • Self-starter with excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Must be willing to work from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM Eastern Standard Time.
  • Must be amenable to using a time-tracking tool during work hours.

Job Type: Full-time
