Importation Procurement Assistant

We are seeking an Importation Procurement Assistant to join our Operations Division. The successful candidate will assist in the procurement of imported materials, supplies, and equipment for our real estate development projects. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Job Description:
- Assist in sourcing and procuring imported materials, supplies, and equipment.
- Coordinate with suppliers, freight forwarders, and customs brokers to ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Prepare and process importation documents, such as commercial invoices, bills of lading, and customs clearance forms.
- Verify and reconcile invoices, payment terms, and shipping details.
- Maintain accurate records of imports, including shipment tracking, delivery schedules, and inventory management.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including project managers, site managers, and other procurement team members.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Procurement Manager.
Qualifications
- Candidate must have a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field.
- At least 1-2 years of experience in procurement, importation, or logistics.
- Knowledge of importation procedures, customs regulations, and international trade agreements.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and Word.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
