
Land/Site Acquisition Specialist

Key Responsibilities:
- Land Acquisition:
- Identify and evaluate potential land parcels for acquisition that align with company objectives and strategic plans.
- Conduct market research and feasibility studies to determine the value and suitability of land options.
- Build and maintain relationships with property owners, brokers, developers, and local government officials.
- Negotiate purchase agreements, including price, terms, and conditions, to secure favorable terms for the company.
- Prepare and present reports and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders.
- Due Diligence:
- Conduct due diligence investigations, including title searches, environmental assessments, and zoning reviews.
- Coordinate with legal, environmental, and engineering teams to ensure all regulatory and compliance requirements are met.
- Address and resolve any issues or concerns related to property acquisition.
- Land Conversion:
- Oversee and manage the conversion of acquired land into usable sites, including coordinating with planners, engineers, and construction teams.
- Ensure that land conversion activities comply with zoning laws, land use regulations, and environmental standards.
- Develop and implement strategies for site development and land use optimization.
- Project Management:
- Develop and manage project timelines, budgets, and resources related to land acquisition and conversion projects.
- Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to senior management.
- Address any project-related issues or obstacles to ensure timely and successful completion.
- Reporting and Documentation:
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of land acquisition activities, including contracts, agreements, and correspondence.
- Prepare and submit reports on land acquisition and conversion activities, including financial analyses and project status updates.
- Compliance and Risk Management:
- Ensure compliance with all relevant local, state, and federal regulations and policies.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with land acquisition and conversion projects.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Urban Planning, Geography, Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
- years of experience in land acquisition, real estate, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience in land conversion and site development is a strong plus.
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and project management skills.
- Knowledge of land use regulations, zoning laws, and environmental compliance.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in relevant software and tools (e.g., GIS, Microsoft Office Suite).
- Knows how to drive 4 wheels and a motorcycle with valid license.
Job Type: Fixed term
Pay: Php35, Php40,000.00 per month
