About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to join the talented team at Net Pacific, Inc. as a Programmer for their Access Control System. As a Programmer, you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining the sophisticated access control software that is central to Net Pacific's security solutions. This full-time position is based in our Taguig City office, providing you with the opportunity to work alongside a dedicated group of professionals in the fast-paced Information & Communication Technology industry.

What you'll be doing

  1. Design, develop, and implement complex access control software applications
  2. Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure seamless integration between the access control system and other security components
  3. Troubleshoot and resolve software-related issues, providing prompt and effective solutions
  4. Continuously improve the performance, reliability, and user experience of the access control system
  5. Participate in the entire software development lifecycle, including requirement gathering, coding, testing, and deployment
  6. Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in the software engineering and access control industry

What we're looking for

  1. Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  2. Minimum 1 year of experience in software development, with a focus on access control systems or security applications
  3. Proficient in programming languages such as C#, Java, or Python
  4. Hands-on experience with database management, preferably SQL Server or MySQL
  5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  6. Familiarity with software development methodologies, such as Agile or Scrum
  7. Excellent communication and documentation skills
