Contract: Long-term freelance role (similar to CDI)

Compensation

For full-time (45 hours/week), earnings range from PHP 40,000 to PHP 70,000 per month (about PHP 198 – PHP 346/hour).

We start with an hourly setup linked to this scale. At ~40% workload (~18 hours/week), pay typically lands between PHP 16,000 – PHP 28,000 per month, depending on actual hours. Overtime is compensated.

There is strong potential to transition into a full-time position and eventually manage your own team.

Working Hours

Monday to Friday, CET time zone:

  • 09:00 – 12:00
  • 13:00 – 19:00

Initial workload ~40%, with weekly variation and long-term growth toward 100%.

Time Off
  • December 24–25: paid holidays
  • December 31 (half-day) & January 1 (half-day): paid holidays
  • 5 working days of PTO or sick leave per year

What You'll Do
  • Reformat freight tariff documents into a clean, standardized structure ready for SQL databases.
  • Build and maintain Python pipelines to handle different file inputs (PDF, Excel, etc.) and deliver outputs in Excel.
  • Guarantee zero-tolerance for mapping or transformation errors.
  • Push automation as far as possible, while allowing for occasional manual inputs.
  • Produce outputs that consistently meet strict formatting and quality standards.

Your Profile
  • Strong track record in Python scripting for data wrangling and transformation.
  • Solid experience with SQL in a professional context.
  • Advanced Excel capabilities for managing large and complex datasets.
  • Meticulous eye for detail – both text and numbers must be flawless.
  • Fluent in written English.
  • Comfortable with spreadsheets and online tools.
  • Dependable computer and internet connection.
