Enterprise Architect

JOB SUMMARY:

This position will perform the role of an Enterprise Architect under the Solutions Consulting Department. This role is responsible for envisioning, defining, planning, and implementing the IT strategy of a client focused on meeting business needs with utmost consideration on return on investment and maintaining security. This role will work closely with stakeholders including the client's and internal development team, Technical Managers, Solutions Consultants, Project sponsors, Managing Directors, and will report directly to the Chief Technology Officer.

JOB ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Identify, analyze, plan, develop and lead the team in executing the IT architecture framework or blueprint as aligned with the client IT strategy aligned with Technology and business objectives and priorities.
• Define the roadmap and programs toward the target architecture based on standards and best practices.
• Exhibit critical thinking, thought leadership, and sharp technical skills to identify opportunities for innovation and growth.
• Provide guidance and direction to projects and ensure adherence to the target architecture within standards and guidelines.
• Above average presentation and communications skills. Ability to manage stakeholders.
• Preferably but not mandatory to have a solid exposure to any industry recognized EA frameworks e.g. The Open Group Architecture Framework (TOGAF) etc.
• Adequate knowledge of one or more of the following: Business Architecture, Application Architecture, Microservices architecture, API architecture and technology Architecture
• Solid and deep knowledge of technology and enterprise architecture concepts through practical experience
• Adept and fluent understanding of the 'technology stack' from infrastructure through business logic and applications
• Insatiable appetite for technology trends, tools, and industry trends and practices
• Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills where he can effectively communicate jargon and abstract concepts both in verbal and written form to any audience, but most especially with the right individual who can influence and advocate the strategy.
• Has the ability to spot, probe, and identify fixes with regard to structural issues or roadblocks within the organization, both in the technical and functional team
• Provide guidance to clients on the design, architecture, and how to scale their journey to the new technology trends
• Initiate and advocate investments with the client especially on digital transformation and modernization.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

• Preferably a Bachelor or Higher degree holder in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, IT, or any related. We prefer experience over educational attainment.
• At least 10 years of solid IT architectural and infrastructure experience specifically for both Infrastructure & Network & Security Solutions.
• At least 8 years of solid experience in technical or solution design and architecture. Industry knowledge on banking, telco, or utilities are a plus
• Critical thinker, self starter, and has the ability to quickly learn and pick up new information
• Well-versed in Microsoft office and Google Suites.
• Revered as a technology expert, with strong advocacy in driving technology-driven business transformations.
• Has the ability to develop not only solutions but value adding propositions for the client and appropriately sell the idea to the client without compromising quality and cost.
• Exhibits command, authority, and accountability with stakeholders and can drive C-suite/senior leadership level discussions
• Strong learning agility and leadership skills
• Has a solid and proven track record in deal shaping, strategizing, and realizing technology architecture
• Has a strong sense of responsibility, accountability, and stewardship
• Has confidence in making informed decisions even under pressure
• Ability to work various internal teams and customers to deliver proper technical or business outcomes. - not sure where this should go.
• Willingness to work on-site and on a hybrid set-up
• Amenable to work in BGC, Taguig
• Preferably someone who can start as soon as possible but not a requirement
