This role is a key senior leadership position within the core Enterprise Architecture (EA) department. You will collaborate with the global EA team to set architectural and technical direction across enterprise applications and technologies, and partner with business and IT leaders to develop business-enabling technology strategies. You will also work within the APAC IT organization to ensure large-scale enterprise solutions meet business needs, align with IT standards, and remain future-proof and cost justified. You will be a trusted partner for business and IT leaders to ensure solution effectiveness and alignment to Dexcom’s future capabilities, while proactively reducing risk. The role includes piloting generative-AI technologies and expanding governance as needed. Where You Come In You develop and maintain current and planned state architectural blueprints and roadmaps aligned with the IT strategy. You create solution patterns and technology standards and work with delivery teams to ensure successful implementation. You drive the formation and evolution of application and technical domain models aligned with business capabilities and manage these models across a federated organization. You represent APAC as part of the Global Design Authority within a matrix organization. You collaborate with senior stakeholders in discovery and conceptual design phases, selecting optimal solutions for APAC while aligning with Global Architecture. You partner with Project Managers to manage technical risks, stakeholders, and milestones. You research new market innovations and cloud services, performing assessments to inform target architecture and roadmap. You lead development of POCs or pilots to evaluate emerging technologies and foster a culture of continuous learning and experimentation. You partner with Infrastructure and InfoSec to design cloud-based, resilient, and secure architectures, and accelerate DevOps in a secured cloud for managing microservices in GCP, including CI/CD pipelines. You support development of real-time predictive analytics and machine learning on operational data to enable new business opportunities. You work with leadership to integrate Generative AI technologies and align AI tools with EA governance. You mentor team members to build a high-performing IT culture. What Makes You Successful You bring 10+ years’ experience as a senior architect delivering enterprise solutions for large-scale data stores, integrations, or customer-facing enterprise applications, preferably with delivery responsibility in a leadership role. You have knowledge of major enterprise processes and IT systems (e.g., Order-to-Cash, Source-to-Pay, Demand-to-Fulfill, Record-to-Report, etc.). You have experience in a federated, global EA organization and collaboration across IT, business stakeholders, engineers, QA, and business analysts in multiple time zones. You apply business architecture concepts (value chain mapping, capability and process modeling, information modeling) to manage IT roadmaps and governance frameworks in global settings. You have strong knowledge of distributed systems in public clouds (GCP/AWS/Azure), with emphasis on GCP services; familiarity with Kubernetes and Docker for microservices is preferred. You have experience with Java, scripting languages, JSON/XML, and industry formats (EDI, HL7). You are proficient with monitoring/logging tools (DataDog, Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana) and how to use them for operations. You understand CI/CD security and securing run-time infrastructure with external connectivity. You have experience with Cloud Data Warehouses (BigQuery, Snowflake) and proficiency with graph and NoSQL databases. You possess strong written and spoken communication skills and can document architectural designs (MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Smartsheet, Lucid) effectively. Additional preferred skills: Experience with EA tools (Abacus, LeanIX, HOPEX) and global IT implementations. Certifications such as Solution Architect, Open Group CA/TOGAF, or Cloud Architect are a plus. Experience in Agile/Scrum environments providing architectural support and driving spikes. Familiarity with enterprise apps for commercial/manufacturing functions (e.g., Oracle ERP, Salesforce, Camstar MES) and integration tech (Kafka, Apigee). Exposure to generative AI, ML, and advanced analytics is desirable. Knowledge of provider-sponsored health insurance systems and the Healthcare industry is a bonus.
