Technical Support Analyst Project-Based

We are looking for a Technical Support Analyst to join our team supporting City Furniture, a leading home furnishing retailer in the U.S. This is a 3-month project-based role designed for tech-savvy professionals who can confidently troubleshoot system issues, support critical business platforms, and ensure smooth IT operations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Helpdesk Support (40%)
- Handle incoming technical support calls, troubleshoot hardware/software/system issues (AS400, WMS, proprietary apps), escalate complex problems, and create detailed support tickets in Jira
- Systems Monitoring & Issue Resolution (30%)
Monitor business systems for performance issues, user access problems, and system errors. Resolve or escalate based on severity
- Nightly Operations (20%)
Supervise nightly AS400 operations and warehouse system processes to ensure systems are ready for the next business dayAssist with installations and upgrades, and maintain records of tickets and resolutions for future referenceQualifications:
- Software Support & Documentation (10%)
Required:
- At least 2 years of combined experience in Customer Service and IT Support
- Strong English communication skills (verbal and written)
- Ability to diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues
- High computer literacy and troubleshooting capabilities
- Experience with ticketing systems (e.g., Jira Service Management)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides)
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple issues simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills
- Knowledge of iPad iOS, macOS, Windows OS, IBMi AS400, and other business systems
- Associate degree in MIS or relevant IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA ITF+, A+) is preferred
Good to Have:
- A+ or ITF+ certification
- Familiarity with WMS and internal business applications
- Experience supporting users in a retail, warehouse, or multi-department enterprise environment
Job Type: Fixed term
Contract length: 3 months
Pay: Php25, Php30,000.00 per month
