Job Summary:

The Purchasing Staff is responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing materials, supplies, and services necessary for company operations. This role ensures timely procurement at the best value while maintaining quality and compliance with company standards.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Source and evaluate suppliers, comparing quality, price, and delivery terms.
  • Prepare and process purchase orders in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Track and monitor the status of orders to ensure timely delivery and resolve any issues related to delays, quality, or discrepancies.
  • Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and inventory levels.
  • Coordinate with internal departments (e.g., warehouse, production, accounting) to determine purchasing needs and specifications.
  • Negotiate with suppliers to secure competitive pricing, discounts, and payment terms.
  • Evaluate vendor performance and maintain a preferred supplier database.
  • Ensure compliance with procurement standards and regulations.
  • Assist in preparing cost analysis reports and budgeting for purchases.
  • Support inventory control and stock level optimization.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
  • 1–3 years of relevant experience in purchasing or procurement preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel); familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks) is a plus.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
