* Operate and maintain the ROEDI to produce optimum flow and quality of potable water.

* Maintain the treatment plant systems by Manual.

* Prepare log sheet and work orders for servicing and repairs.

* Inspect the treatment plant plant systems daily to ensure effective operations.

* Inspect, service and repair components of the water treatment plant including water intakes, pipes, water storage tanks, chemical treatment equipment controls, circulation pumps and valves.

* Conduct regular inspections of the physical plant and establish a preventative maintenance program.

* Maintain inventories ( chemical /spares) and Provide reports to OIC-WWT

* Ensure records are maintained and up to date for review by the OIC-WWT.

  • JOB QUALIFICATION
  • A relevant degree, certification, or license may be required.
  • Experience as a technician.
  • A driver's license.
  • Ability to multitask and liaise with professionals in different fields.
  • Ability to explain problems simply and clearly.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
  • Ability to understand verbal and written instructions.
  • Ability to follow health and safety regulations.
