Wastewater Treatment Technicians are responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of wastewater treatment facilities.

Job Description:

* Observe and adjust equipment like p[umps, filters, ad chemical feed systems to maintain optimal performance and meet treatment goals.

* Operate and monitor control panels, manage parameters to ensure the treatment process is running smoothly.

* When problems arise, technicians diagnose and resolve issues with equipment, process or instrumentation.

* Technicians ensure that the wastewater treatment plant operates in compliance with environmental regulations and permits.

* They adhere to safety protocols, wear personal protective equipment (PPE) and maintain a safer working environment.

*They maintain accurate of al treatment operations, maintenance activities, and compliance data.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

*Understanding the different stages of treatment, chemical treatments and how equipment process.

* Proficiency in operating and troubleshooting pumps, motors, valves and control systems.

*Ability to analyze data identify problems, and develop solutions.

*Meticulous in monitoring, reporting and record-keeping.

* Ability to work effectively as part of a team and contribute to group goals.

* ability to perform physically demanding tasks , including lifting, bending and standing for extended periods.

* with at least 1 year experience.

* Adaptability to new technologies, procedure and regulations.

* Adherence to safety protocols and procedures,
