Role description:

To deliver accurate, timely, and insightful people data reports that support business decision-making across Arcadis' global operations. The role bridges operational reporting and strategic analytics, ensuring data integrity and process consistency across regions 

As a member of the Global Reporting Team, the Reporting Specialist is responsible for producing actionable reports that align with the organization's goals, support strategic initiatives, and enable business leaders to make informed decisions. In addition, the Specialist will collaborate with various stakeholders, streamline reporting processes, and advise on improvements to reporting systems.

This role will report to the Global People Analytics and Reporting Manager.

Role accountabilities:

  1. Report Generation: Create and maintain scheduled and ad hoc reports using Oracle OTBI, Crunchr, and Excel 

    •    Create, maintain, and distribute recurring and ad-hoc People/HR reports, including metrics such as headcount, turnover, diversity, employee engagement, and other key indicators.

    •    Ensure that data sources and reporting methodologies are consistent with organizational standards.
  2. Data Quality & Compliance: Ensure accuracy, consistency, and secure handling of sensitive people data 

    •    Regularly audit People/HR data to ensure accuracy and consistency within the system.

    •    Collaborate with colleagues across teams to address data issues and discrepancies promptly.

    •    Ensure all reports align with organizational policies and regulatory requirements, including data privacy standards like GDPR.
  3. Stakeholder Collaboration: Liaise with People Business Partners, HRIS, and regional teams to understand reporting needs and deliver actionable insights 

    •    Partner with People Teams, and Leadership Teams to understand reporting needs and deliver tailored solutions.
  4. Process Documentation: Maintain SOPs and contribute to knowledge-sharing initiatives to support standardisation.
  5. Tool Utilisation: Leverage self-service platforms and troubleshoot basic reporting issues; escalate complex issues to senior analysts.
  6. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline reporting processes and enhance data visualisation 

    •    Contribute to the implementation of new systems or tools, including managing change and preparing documentation.
  7. Data Analysis and Insights : Analyze HR data to identify trends and patterns, providing actionable insights to support strategic decision-making.

    •    Investigate discrepancies and resolve issues in reporting to ensure data integrity.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • A bachelor's degree in any field is required.
  • Preferably 3-4 years of experience in HR reporting, People analytics, or reporting
  • Familiarity with HR systems and databases preferably Oracle Human Capital Management system. (OTBI)
  • Strong analytical skills with proven experience in delivering People and HR reports.
  • Advanced knowledge Excel and proficiency data visualization tools.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy.
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders and present insights effectively.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize workloads in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility to work on rotating shifts and adapt to organizational changes.
  • Knowledge of compliance standards and data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR).
