About the role

What you'll be doing

  • Design and develop electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, and control systems, for residential, commercial, and industrial construction projects
  • Conduct site inspections and assessments to ensure compliance with relevant building codes, safety standards, and project specifications
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architects, construction managers, and subcontractors, to coordinate the integration of electrical systems into the overall project
  • Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems to ensure they are functioning correctly and efficiently
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance plans to ensure the reliability and longevity of electrical systems
  • Provide technical support and guidance to construction teams and clients throughout the project lifecycle
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in electrical engineering

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as an Electrical Engineer, preferably in the construction industry
  • Proficient in the design and implementation of electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, and control systems
  • Strong understanding of relevant building codes, safety standards, and regulations
  • Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making skills
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams
  • Familiarity with project management software and tools
