Horizon Auto Services Inc.' is seeking a talented and experienced Branch Accountant to join our team in Legazpi City Albay. As a fulltime Branch Accountant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the financial health and compliance of our local branch operations. This position offers the opportunity to apply your financial expertise to support the strategic growth and success of our dynamic automotive services company.

What you'll be doing

  1. Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general ledger transactions
  2. Conduct regular financial analyses and generate comprehensive financial reports for the local branch
  3. Ensure compliance with all applicable accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal financial policies
  4. Collaborate with the central finance team to streamline processes and implement best practices
  5. Provide financial advice and support to branch management to aid in decision-making
  6. Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cost-control initiatives for the local branch
  7. Participate in special projects and ad-hoc tasks as needed

What we're looking for

  1. A bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, with a professional accounting certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA)
  2. Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a similar branch-level accounting role, preferably in the automotive or retail industry
  3. Proficient in the use of accounting software, spreadsheets, and financial reporting tools
  4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
  6. Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
  7. Knowledge of local tax regulations and financial reporting requirements
