Senior Test Analyst

Location: Cebu, Philippines (Hybrid)

As a Senior Test Analyst, you'll design and execute test plans that ensure our software and hardware-integrated products meet the highest quality standards. You'll lead efforts to improve both manual and automated testing practices, collaborating closely with developers, product owners, and project teams.

Your role will blend hands-on testing with process improvement - bringing automation into our QA processes, mentoring other testers, and helping us embed quality as a shared responsibility across the engineering function.

• Own End-to-End testing across Web, Mobile, and Embedded platforms
• Contribute to Automation Efforts using tools like Playwright, Cypress, Appium
• Support the adoption and maintenance of automation frameworks (e.g. Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, Appium)
• Contribute to API and integration testing using Postman or automated REST API frameworks
• Perform functional, regression, and exploratory testing to validate performance and usability
• Collaborate with developers to align test coverage with sprint goals.
• Log, prioritise, and track defects in Jira, ensuring clear communication and traceability
• Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives as part of an Agile team
• Produce clear testing documentation and contribute to reporting and continuous improvement
• Advocate for quality-first thinking and scalable test practices.

What You Bring

• 4+ years of experience in software testing or QA, across both manual and automated environments
• Experience with Test Automation Tools and scripting in JavaScript, Java, or Python
• Familiarity with API test automation (Postman, Rest-Assured, or equivalent)
• Exposure to CI/CD environments and experience integrating automated tests into pipelines
• Working knowledge of JavaScript, Python, or Java for test scripting and automation tasks
• Strong understanding of test design techniques, defect management, and Agile delivery
• Experience testing web, mobile, or hardware-integrated systems
• Familiarity with Git, GitLab, or similar source control tools
• Excellent communication and stakeholder alignment
• A structured, detail-oriented mindset and a drive for continuous improvement
• ISTQB or equivalent certification
