Job Title: QA Analyst

Location: Cebu, Philippines

Employment Type: Full-time / Onsite, Night Shift (7PM-4AM)


About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled QA Analyst to join our Cebu-based team. You will be responsible for designing, executing, and maintaining comprehensive test cases and test plans based on BDD principles. This role involves performing end-to-end manual testing across multiple platforms, ensuring optimal quality and performance of all product releases.


What You'll Do
  • Review requirements and technical specifications using Azure DevOps.
  • Design and execute test cases based on Behavior Driven Development (BDD) principles.
  • Perform manual testing: functional, regression, smoke, exploratory, UI/UX, API, integration, and performance testing.
  • Create detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts using architecture and data flow diagrams.
  • Document and report defects, collaborating with developers for timely resolution.
  • Test cross-platform and cross-browser compatibility, including mobile (iOS/Android) and web interfaces.
  • Conduct performance and compatibility testing across different environments (hardware, OS, network).
  • Stay updated on emerging QA tools, technologies, and best practices.
  • Communicate test results effectively to team members and leadership.
  • Provide feedback and recommendations for product and process improvement.
  • Participate in UAT and product demo sessions.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field (or equivalent work experience).
  • 3+ years experience in software QA/testing.
  • Strong understanding of SDLC and QA methodologies.
  • Familiarity with Agile or hybrid Agile practices.
  • Experience with Azure DevOps or similar defect/test management tools.
  • CSTE or equivalent certification is preferred.
