Job Description – Collection Data Analyst

Position Overview:

The Collection Data Analyst is responsible for analyzing and interpreting data related to the company's collection activities. This role ensures that management has accurate and timely insights to improve recovery rates, optimize collection strategies, and support overall business decisions. The analyst will use tools such as Excel, SQL, and reporting platforms to generate reports, track KPIs, and identify trends.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect, clean, and organize large sets of collection-related data from various systems and databases.
  • Perform data analysis using Excel functions and formulas (e.g., VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, SUMIF, conditional formatting) to create clear and actionable reports.
  • Write and execute SQL queries to extract, validate, and manipulate data for reporting and analysis.
  • Monitor and evaluate collection performance metrics, such as delinquency rates, repayment patterns, and recovery percentages.
  • Provide regular and ad hoc reports to management with insights and recommendations for improving collection efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards or trackers to visualize collection performance trends.
  • Identify areas for process improvement and recommend solutions based on data insights.
  • Collaborate with the Collection Department, and Operations teams to ensure alignment of strategies.
  • Ensure accuracy, confidentiality, and integrity of all collection data and reports.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, charts, macros is a plus).
  • Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
  • Experience with data visualization/reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, or similar) is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to present complex data in a clear, concise, and actionable manner.
  • Previous experience in collections, or online lending industry is a plus.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From Php40,000.00 per month
