What You'll Do

Be part of our client's team as a Portfolio Accountant, where you prepare and analyze financial statements, integrate multi-source data, and automate reporting. You'll create dashboards, generate insights on portfolio performance, and support strategic decision-making, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and global impact across investment management operations.

What You Need to Qualify

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or related field
• 3+ years of experience in investment, portfolio, or fund accounting, ideally with BI and data exposure
• Proficiency in accounting software, BI platforms (Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, etc.), and advanced Excel
• Experience in data integration, ETL processes, and reporting automation
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills; able to explain complex data clearly
• High attention to detail and commitment to data governance and integrity

Preferred:

• CPA or relevant financial certification
• Experience with SQL, Python, or similar data-manipulation tools
• Background in private equity, real estate, or multi-asset portfolio environments

What You'll Handle Daily

• Prepare and analyze accurate financial statements for investment portfolios, including reconciliations and performance summaries across multiple asset classes and currencies
• Develop and automate financial, operational, and client reporting using business intelligence (BI) platforms such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools
• Integrate data from various sources (portfolio management systems, general ledgers, data warehouses) and ensure data quality and consistency across accounting and BI systems
• Design and deliver dashboards, visualizations, and reports that provide actionable insights on portfolio performance, risk, and operational KPIs to investment teams and senior management
• Perform ad hoc data analysis and scenario modeling to support forecasting, asset allocation, and process improvement initiatives
• Lead or participate in system upgrades and enhancements, partnering with IT to leverage new technologies for advanced reporting and data integration
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement financial process improvements using analytics and automation
• Maintain documentation and deliver user training on financial systems, reports, and BI dashboards
