Job Brief

We're looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor/Graphic Designer to join an e-commerce team and help bring its visual content to life. This role requires strong technical design and editing skills, and the ability to turn raw ideas or footage into compelling brand assets across digital platforms.

Responsibilities:

  • Graphic Design Responsibilities

  • Design marketing assets for email campaigns and landing pages with a strong focus on conversion.

  • Create eye-catching visuals that clearly communicate marketing messages and campaign goals.

  • Maintain brand consistency and visual alignment across all touchpoints, ensuring professional and cohesive design execution.

  • Video Editing Responsibilities

  • Edit raw footage into high-quality, engaging videos for use in ads, social media (TikTok, Instagram), and product promotions.

  • Add animations, motion graphics, and visual effects to elevate production value.

  • Adjust and format video content to fit the specifications of each platform (horizontal, vertical, square, etc.).

  • Perform colour grading and audio clean-up to ensure polished outputs.

  • Collaborate closely with the marketing team to interpret creative briefs and translate them into video concepts.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in graphic design and video editing roles, preferably in an e-commerce or direct-to-consumer environment.

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, After Effects).

  • Strong understanding of design principles, composition, and motion.

  • Portfolio demonstrating both static design work and edited video content.

  • Ability to manage multiple creative projects at once, with a focus on deadlines and results.

Desirable:

  • Experience with e-commerce platforms and marketing tools.

  • Familiarity with short-form video content trends, especially for platforms like TikTok, Reels, and YouTube Shorts.

  • A background in performance marketing or conversion-focused creative production.

Software Proficiency:

  • Adobe Premiere Pro

  • Adobe After Effects

  • Adobe Photoshop

  • Adobe Illustrator

  • Canva (basic use if applicable)

Education:

  • No formal education requirement, but a degree in multimedia arts, digital design, or related field is advantageous.

Personal Attributes:

  • Highly creative with a strong attention to detail

  • Able to take initiative and adapt quickly to feedback

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
