Finance Management Trainee

DescriptionThis position will be the main touch-point of assigned Business Unit Heads, Sales Channel Managers, TDC Owners, Controllership, People & Culture, or Function Heads in the management of the enterprise's profitability and total cost management; this includes the generation of forecasts and cost-saving initiatives that would drive the business growth of Rebisco.ResponsibilitiesThe Financial Analyst Trainee may be assigned to one of the five teams below and will be asked to accomplish the corresponding responsibilities:CORPORATE FINANCE TEAM: Enterprise Profit ManagementCreates and maintains financial models to monitor the company's monthly profit outlooks (Year-to-Date and Year-to-Go);Consolidates BU Profit Forecasts to build into the Enterprise Profit Forecast that will be presented to Mancom on a monthly basis;Partners with function heads to monitor, maintain, and call out risks in the group's SR&A actuals versus budget;Creates forecasts on Non-TDC Capex and measures actuals against budgeted and forecasted amounts; Captures the Enterprise Net Income Before Tax, where the Corporate Finance Team will be measured against as one of their main KPIs.BUSINESS UNIT FINANCE: Business Unit Profit ManagementCreates and maintains financial models to monitor the assigned Business Unit's (BU) monthly profit outlooks (Year-to-Date and Year-to-Go);Consolidates by-brand profit forecasts to come up with the assigned BU's profit forecasts, that will be utilized by the Corporate Finance Team's monthly presentations to Macom;Monitors the BU's and brands' actual Advertising & Promotions expenses against the budgeted amounts;Captures the BU Margin by measuring the BU's Net Sales less TDC and A&P which is the BU's Profit Before SR&A; the BU Margin will be one of the team's main KPIsSALES FINANCE: Net Sales ManagementCreates and maintains financial models to monitor the Net Sales line-up (i.e., SRP, Trade Margin, List Price, Sales Discounts, Returns, Allowances, and Net Realization) to come up with the Enterprise Net Sales and Enterprise Selling Expenses.Consolidates by-channel net realization to build into the Enterprise Net SalesIdentifies the most profitable customers with the Sales department coming from the profit outlook reports generated for the department to prioritize on the highest yielding channels;Monitors selling expenses' actual versus budget with assigned Sales Channels to call out risks in exceeding the budget or under-spending/under-delivering.TOTAL DELIVERED COST FINANCE: TDC Management by-plant, by-BU, and EnterprisePartners with TDC owners to monitor and manage Total Delivered Costs (e.g., RM, PM, MFX, Logistics (W&D)) that will be used to measure Enterprise Profit and BU Profits accordingly;Partners with TDC owners to monitor CAPEX forecast and budget against actuals;Partners with Controllership to monitor the integrity and accuracy of Product Cost Acounting;Identifies potential cost saving initiatives with TDC owners to yield optimal financial results coming from the reports generated on TDC and CAPEX.TREASURY: Banking Relations, Working Capital Management, and Cash ManagementManages cash receipts and fund disbursements in a timely and accurate manner to maintain the integrity of the Treasury processes;Manages the Working Capital of Rebisco by measuring Accounts Receivables, Inventory, and Accounts Payables (i.e., AR + Inventory - AP) as part of maintaining healthy financial ratios in the company.Partners with TDC Finance in creating models to monitor CAPEX funding forecasts and manage them accordingly to ensure its accuracy;Partners with People & Culture to monitor and fund payroll requirements of the company;Maintains and monitors the company's Cash and Working Capital through the above tasks, to which the team will be measured against as their main KPIs.QualificationsGraduate of BS Business Administration, Management Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Accountancy, or any business-related course.Fresh graduates from top universities are welcome to apply.Must be knowledgeable in Philippine Financial Reporting Standard (PFRS), Profit & Loss Management, Cost Accounting, and Managerial Accounting, Financial Analysis and Reporting.Must be capable in budgeting, forecast analyses, reports, and presentations and in translating data from financial models to insights that can be used by stakeholders.
