The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the daily operations of the company's facilities, support services, and general administration. This role ensures that maintenance, housekeeping, security, transportation, accommodations, and external partnerships are managed efficiently, safely, and cost-effectively to support smooth business operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Facilities & Maintenance

  • Schedule, supervise, and monitor routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and emergency repairs to ensure workplace safety and equipment reliability.
  • Manage contractors and vendors for facility-related services, ensuring cost-effectiveness and service quality.

Housekeeping & Security

  • Oversee housekeeping teams to maintain cleanliness and orderliness of all company premises.
  • Manage security personnel and ensure the implementation of safety, security, and emergency protocols.

Transportation & Logistics

  • Supervise company drivers and vehicle scheduling for staff pick-up, drop-off, and business requirements.
  • Monitor fuel consumption, vehicle maintenance, and ensure compliance with transportation policies.

General Administration

  • Oversee administrative support functions, ensuring efficiency in office management and staff services.
  • Monitor and optimize the use of supplies, facilities, and resources.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and government regulations.

Accommodation & Hospitality

  • Manage staff accommodations and ensure proper upkeep of company-provided housing.
  • Liaise with partner hotels for reservations, billing, and accommodation arrangements for guests, staff, and clients.

External Collaboration & Communication

  • Act as the primary point of contact for vendors, suppliers, and external partners.
  • Negotiate contracts, review service agreements, and ensure good working relationships with third parties.

People Management

  • Supervise and guide staff under operations (housekeeping, drivers, guards, admin staff, etc.).
  • Conduct performance evaluations, provide training, and ensure high service standards.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field (Master's degree is an advantage).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in operations, facilities management, or general administration, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations, building maintenance, and vendor management.
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple teams effectively.
