IT Assistant / Junior Tech Support

Go Motion is a full-service production and creative house based in Makati.

We partner with brands, agencies, and media teams to produce engaging stories that connect with audiences. From pre-production and shoots to post-production, motion graphics, and visual effects, our team delivers innovative and high-quality content that brings ideas to life.

About the Role

We are looking for a Junior IT Technician to support the setup, maintenance, and monitoring of all technical systems across pre-production, post-production, and office operations. This role is ideal for someone who is tech-savvy, eager to learn.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle installations and maintenance of company hardware and software, including multimedia, pre- and post-production, and office IT systems.
  • Set up and configure systems and equipment for editing, transmission, and post-production.
  • Handle troubleshooting and resolution of basic technical and software issues.
  • Assist in file management: receiving raw materials, dumping, organizing, converting, compressing, exporting, and uploading content.
  • Research and learn new tools, software, and hardware relevant to production and post-production.
  • Maintain accurate records of multimedia and IT equipment.

File & Database Monitoring

  • Monitor servers, databases, and file systems to ensure proper organization, accessibility, and security.
  • Check and verify project files for completeness before sign-off or clearance.
  • Maintain accurate records of all company assets and files, whether equipment, digital, or physical, using spreadsheets and databases for proper monitoring and tracking.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of IT, Computer Science, Broadcast Technology, or related field (fresh graduates are welcome to apply).
  • Basic knowledge of video/audio formats, editing software and creative tools (Adobe Creative Suite) is an advantage (editing skills NOT required).
  • Tech-savvy, resourceful, and a fast learner who is eager to grow, whether independently or as part of a team.
  • Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Flexible and team-oriented, with a proactive attitude.
