Front Office Duties

  1. Conducts daily briefing regarding operations of the Hotel.

  2. Coordinates with the Security for luggage assistance requirements (heavy check-in or

heavy check-out).

  1. Ensures that all Night audit functions are performed following the established policies

and procedures.

  1. Ensures that all required reports are completed and submitted on or before the

established deadlines.

  1. Controls the background (piped in) music system, music on hold and ensures that it is in

working condition at all times. Monitors lobby scent, & event plasma

  1. Prepares weekly requisition on office supplies.

  2. Ensures that all staff including on the job trainee follows the grooming standards.

  3. Reviews the accounts of expected departures at least a day prior departure; folio set-up

should be in order.

  1. Ensures that all required documentations are on hand and in order at least a day prior

departure.

  1. Ensures that all Front Office Associates complete the Daily Guest Requests/Complaints

Log sheet.

  1. Monitors incoming and outgoing unclaimed messages, faxes, and packages. Ensure that these are given or delivered to the guests; follow-up that items for pick-up by non-guests are claimed within the day.

  2. Reviews Open High Balance Report and refer to the Guest Services Manager and Finance Manager any problematic accounts.

  3. Ensures control procedures are strictly implemented on cashiering transactions like cash refund, deposit, and foreign exchange.

  4. Ensures that charges are posted accurately and on a timely basis.

  5. Ensures that all long staying guests' discounts/entitlements are extended or applied on a daily basis.

  6. Reviews the expected arrivals and departures at least 3 days prior the date; and ensures that all required documentations are on hand and in order.

  7. Assign or block rooms according to guests' requirements/preferences.

  8. Ensures all office suites, room blockings, amendments, and cancellations are documented.

  9. Closely monitors room type availability and room blockings are accurately processed, in order to maximize availability.

  10. Assists/ supports the goal of maximizing room revenue by upselling.

  11. Reviews and updates company and guest profiles.

  12. Prepares the duty roster for a 2-week period.

  13. Ensures all areas (Front Desk, Telephone, Reservation and Luggage Assist) are well manned based on the operational requirements.

Performs such other duties and responsibilities analogous, germane or related to and/or implied from the above enumeration of duties and responsibilities.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From Php25,000.00 per month
